Your Mission:

Wowcher are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic People leader to join the London team as Head of People. This role will be responsible for all HR & Talent activity across the Wowcher business and various office locations. Leading the HR & Talent team, and working closely alongside the Executive Team, the Head of People effectively delivers the People strategy and manages the full employee life cycle for our Wowcher colleagues.

Your Quests Include:

  • Employee Relations: Responsible for all ER activity across the business, advising and guiding leadership team, managers and employees.
  • Talent: Responsible for delivering the talent strategy, growth planning, budget, and direct recruitment strategies.
  • Training: Delivery of management and staff training where applicable. Building relationships with external providers where necessary. Responsible for content selection, budget and training needs analysis.
  • Policies & Procedures: Responsible for writing, reviewing and implementing company policies and procedures as and when necessary.
  • On-boarding & Payroll: Managing the payroll process alongside Finance Director and with external bureau.
  • Business Partner/Stakeholder Management: Working alongside key stakeholders, including the leadership team and regional managers, to deliver a high quality HR service.
  • Benefits & Rewards: Ensuring employee benefits and rewards are relevant and competitive.
  • Employment Law: Ensuring that employment law knowledge is current and reflected in policies and practices across the business.

Key Requirements:

You will be a confident, enthusiastic and engaging HR/People professional, either in an existing ‘Head of’ role, or a People Manager looking for your first move into a Head of People position. You will be CIPD qualified and have at least 3 years’ experience in a management/senior HR role. Previous experience in an e-commerce environment will be a bonus!

You embrace change and can work at pace, with a real passion to drive our People strategy forward. You have led a team in your current or previous roles, and you have proven experience of building solid relationships with business leaders and colleagues across remote and distributed environments.
