Your Mission:

The Merchandising team at Wowcher is responsible for compiling the business’ online shop window using both qualitative and quantitative data to select the most appropriate deals to display on-site. By assessing which offerings should deliver the most revenue for the company in the medium to long term, the Merchandising team will provide insight to Sales teams and Management to meet changing consumer preferences and adapt to seasonal change. The Market Growth Analyst uses data and commercial acumen to seek out incremental revenue opportunities and increase market-share.

Your Quests Include:

B2B marketing

  • Provides adhoc analysis and applies this to current trading environment to assist sales in acquiring new business.
  • Works closely with sales and design teams to create enticing collateral for sales negotiations.

Gap Analysis & Lead Generation

  • Provides direction to sales team on gaps in the business and chases these through, holding the team to account in securing incremental business.
  • Provides strategic leads for sales team to use to acquire new business.
  • Analyses competitors and makes commercial judgements, applying findings to improve the business.
  • Works with the product team on automating processes on gap analysis and acquiring data from competitor sites.
  • Strategises new business opportunities.
  • Analyses key structures that work well for Wowcher and provides feedback to roll out successes across the business.
  • Keeps up to date with market trends and uses this knowledge to inform business decisions.

Who you are:

  • Degree or previous experience in a relevant sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. excel)
  • Ability to analyse data sets in order to arrive at logical conclusions
  • Experience in tools such as SQL and Power Bi is useful but not essential
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask, responding to ad-hoc data requests whilst taking care of ongoing tasks / projects
  • Proactively challenges the status quo to grow the business
  • Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders across the business
