Why this role
It sits across account direction and project direction. You grow the accounts organically and you own how the work gets delivered.
The events are big. £500k budgets and up, UK and international, for clients across beauty, manufacturing and hospitality.
You'll be on some of the agency's key accounts, the ones they've held for years.
You'll lead a team. Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Account Managers and Account Executives, with a clear remit to develop them.
The agency
A creative events agency working with brands across the UK and internationally. They do live events, campaigns and activations, film, creative content and venue finding.
The role
You'll take ownership of large scale projects end to end. Client relationships, content direction, production, technical, logistics, delegates, suppliers and full budget control to margin.
You'll make sure the project teams are resourced properly and supported to deliver, and you'll work with the Client Services Director to steer content against client strategy.
Proposals and pitches sit with you too, alongside the account team.
What you need
- Experience in a senior level delivery role within an event agency
- Large scale delivery, including international events
- Budget ownership at £500k and above
- Line management experience, not optional on this one
- Full control of project budgets, margin and reconciliation
- Confident directing content, creative assets and presentations
- A complete understanding of every element of an event
- Full UK driving licence and own car
