The role

Hybrid – fantastic on site office. This role will be 30 hours per week over 4 days.

To support the Merchandiser in the day-to-day management of the product categories. Provide accurate stock management. Ensuring tasks are carried out in a timely manner in line with critical paths and in season trading.

• Management of all purchase orders
• Review, chase, place, cancel and defer in reaction to sales on a regular basis and suggest actions
• Help run and prepare data that feeds into reports for weekly Trade meetings on categories owned
• Management spreadsheets detailing key season vents such as Mid-Season Sale and End of Season Sale
• Support with production of data and reports on Lessons Learned and Monthly Performance roll-ups
• Help assess Retail stock holding and suggest actions for best use of stock within the business
• Product set-up at key periods of the season, pushing for complete accuracy
• Regular supplier communication

Skills, know-how and experience:

Must have:

• Previous experience of working in a similar role
• Good team worker
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good communication skills, a proactive approach and a \”can do\” attitude.
• Confidence to challenge procedures & suggest new ways of working
• Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
• Must have high attention to detail e.g. proofreading, spelling, grammar, numerate
• PC literate especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

• Graduate

Salary will be pro rata for part time
