Location: Woughton Community Council Hub, MK6 5EG

Salary: SCP 18 – 23 (£31,537 - £34,434 Pro Rata)

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time (20 hours per week, including evening work)

We are looking for a community focused officer who can support the delivery of activities across our services and help ensure they remain welcoming, accessible and responsive to local needs. Alongside this, you will liaise with a range of community groups and other organisations to develop new partnerships and opportunities that benefit residents.

Working within the Youth and Community Team, but with a role that covers a wide remit, this exciting new opportunity can make a huge difference. With projects as diverse as developing the Youth Council to expanding the Wellbeing Hub, the job promises to be varied, challenging and rewarding.

If you are passionate about public service and want to make a meaningful difference, this role offers a supportive environment and plenty of opportunities to grow. You’ll need experience of delivering projects or activities within a community setting, strong communication skills, a practical approach and the ability to motivate and encourage others.
