A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF DE PARTIE AT OUR HOTEL What you'll be doing:
- Take charge of the pastry section, crafting beautiful desserts and baked goods that impress with flavour, texture, and presentation.
- Bring your creativity to every creation, ensuring each plate meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Keep the pastry kitchen running smoothly by prepping, baking, and organising with precision so every service is effortless.
- Work closely with the kitchen team, communicating clearly to make sure every dish is ready at the right moment.
- Maintain a spotless section at all times, from your workstation to your equipment; attention to detail is essential.
- Monitor ingredients and stock levels, making sure the pastry section is always ready for service.
- Support menu development by contributing fresh ideas, seasonal specials, and new dessert concepts.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring every product is prepared and stored correctly.
- Assist in training junior team members, sharing skills and helping maintain high kitchen standards.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

- Proven experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in a Pastry Chef de Partie role or similar.
