This role focuses on developing an understanding of cinema projection technology, audience preferences, box office performance, and programming within our specific marketplace as a multi-arts venue which operates a cinema and a live theatre program in the same venue.
The successful candidate will work on projector setup and maintenance, weekly projection scheduling and administration, and distributor coordination. The role will also include working with the film manager to assist with booking certain titles while learning how programming decisions balance audience demand, critical reviews and commercial performance. It will also provide insight into how programming connects to audience experience, hospitality, and the venue's overall identity.
Work will also include promoting the film schedule to audiences, including creating images & trailers, and planning the social media schedule.
Status 32-37 hours per week depending on candidate preference, pro rata for part time (inclusive of required training time with Chichester College) Fixed term 18-month apprenticeship
Salary Β£15,392 per annum year 1 (pro rata for part time), national living wage year 2
