We are looking for a part-time Office Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our office. Worthing Homes is a forward-looking housing association dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality homes and services to our local communities. About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator to help keep our workplace running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be at the heart of the office, making sure everything is well organised, fully stocked and operating in a cost-effective way. You will coordinate essential office services such as post, parking permits, meeting rooms and contractor schedules, while also supporting key financial processes by checking deliveries, processing invoices and assisting with tasks like mail merges and bulk mailings. You will help ensure health and safety standards are met and provide cover for our Customer Service Team when needed. You will also have the opportunity to review how we work and suggest improvements that make our service even better. If you enjoy creating order, supporting others and being a key part of a collaborative team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in an office environment and at least two GCSEs, including Maths and English. You will be highly organised, confident using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook, and able to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers alike. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential, as is the ability to juggle competing priorities in a busy environment.
