Worthing College, part of the Chichester College Group, is seeking an experienced qualified Librarian to take day-to-day responsibility for the Library at Worthing College. You will liaise directly with curriculum staff to provide relevant resources, collection development and research skills training. In liaison with teaching staff, you will ensure that the stock, services and environment of the Library support student learning.

You should be educated to degree level and ideally have a CILIP accredited qualification in librarianship or information studies, or a commitment to obtaining such a qualification. Experience of working in a professional role in a library, preferably in the further education sector, and proficient computer skills are advantageous.

You will enjoy working in a busy Library, with fresh challenges on a daily basis and be committed to providing a high standard of service to internal and external customers. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and a flexible and resourceful approach are essential.
