Assessor – Early Years [WC3888]

Pay: £27,785 – £30,364 per annum (pro rata) | 14.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Childcare/Early Years professional to assess students in our Level 2 and T Level programmes, supporting the development of employability skills and vocational competence.
Responsibilities
- Visit students on placement to assess their progress and performance.
- Liaise with relevant employers for assessment of Level 2 and T Level programmes.
- Support the successful running of Early Years work placements.
Qualifications
- Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths.
- Relevant professional qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g., Diploma in Childcare and Education, Level 3 NVQ in Early Years, Care and Education, Children and Young People’s Workforce, NNEB).
- Experience working with students and assessing vocational practice.
- Skills in assessing the progress of students.
- Knowledge of Childcare/Early Years programmes and qualification framework.
- Knowledge of skills and personal qualities needed by students for their future employment sector.
