Are you an experienced and passionate Digital Media expert looking to inspire the next generation?
Due to growth in student numbers, we are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher of Media.
You will be joining a successful team of experienced teachers who teach across both A Level Media & Level 3 Digital Media. The department works closely together, and you will be fully supported by the team in day‑to‑day teaching and collaborate on developing new units for the courses. Specific allocation of courses can be discussed further at interview.
If you have a passion for all elements of Media and feel you have the drive to further develop students’ outcomes and advance teaching and learning and assessment, we would like to meet you.
As our Teacher of Digital Media, you will have a degree level qualification in a relevant field and a level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy. You will also require a recognised teaching qualification or willingness to obtain this as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons for A Level Media and Level 3 Digital Media students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review curriculum units and assessment.
- Support students to achieve academic progress through personalised guidance and support.
- Participate in professional development and continuous learning activities.
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
- Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy.
- Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain one as soon as possible.
