Are you called to be a Forerunner? From September 2026 we are seeking to appoint 2 highly passionate Youth Ministers to join our Forerunner Youth Ministry team and support the religious and faith mission of Worth School. This is a one year, possibly two-year, fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering programmes of evangelisation to all Year groups
  • Discipling your designated house through
  • Contributing to our culture of discipleship through prayer, pastoral presence and mentoring with both pupils and staff
  • Raising up student leaders

Qualifications

  • Practising Christian with sympathetic view towards the Catholic Faith and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church (as laid out in the Forerunner Commitment which is available on request)
  • Experience working in youth ministry
  • Formal qualification in either theology or youth work/ministry (Desirable but not essential)
  • Experience of working in a secondary school environment (Desirable)
  • Experience of running Alpha (Desirable)
  • Experience of delivering Catholic RSE (Desirable)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Worth is a highly successful co‑educational, Catholic, Benedictine, 11‑18 HMC boarding and day school of circa 650 pupils. It offers a broad curriculum, including the International Baccalaureate and A‑levels in the Sixth Form.
