We are looking for a Choral Scholar to join our Abbey Choir every Sunday morning.
What we’re looking for:
- Singers of any voice part with good sight‑reading skills.
- Ability to respond well to coaching and feedback.
- Interest in developing their skills.
- Punctuality to rehearsals and occasions when the choir is singing.
What we’re offering:
- Up to £1,500 a year per Choral Scholar.
- Individual coaching/singing training.
- Flexibility in terms of ‘time off’ where holidays and absences can be arranged in advance.

We currently have one vacancy for September 2026, and the role is initially for one year (renewable by mutual agreement). Auditions will be held in August/September at a mutually convenient time. Closing date: 10th September 2026.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
