A highly regarded lettings agency in Worthing is looking to appoint a professional and organised Property Manager to join their property management team. This role is well-suited to someone with solid lettings or property experience who can manage a varied portfolio and communicate confidently with landlords, tenants, and contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, coordinating maintenance, managing tenancy matters, and maintaining high standards of service throughout the lettings process.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Conducting property inspections and creating detailed condition reports
- Handling maintenance issues and coordinating works with contractors
- Managing reactive and planned repairs efficiently
- Liaising professionally with landlords and tenants on property matters
- Organising check-outs, inventories, and deposit returns
- Ensuring legal compliance with certifications such as EICRs, gas safety, and EPCs
- Supporting the service of section notices where required
- Managing tenancy renewals and rental reviews
- Maintaining accurate property records and documentation
- Delivering responsive and consistent support throughout each tenancy
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience in property management
- Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in residential lettings or a similar role
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Well-organised with good administrative and time management abilities
- Able to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and property software systems
- Professional, courteous, and proactive in problem-solving
- Confident telephone manner and client-facing communication skills
