Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Accounts & Finance Director to take ownership of the finance function for their multi-branch estate agency, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance and commercial reporting across the business.
Based at the company's Head Office in Brixton, this is a hands-on management team role working closely with the Managing Director and external accountants to oversee the day-to-day finance operation while providing strategic financial guidance. The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and maintaining strong financial controls to support the continued success of the business.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Leading and managing the day-to-day finance and accounts function across the business
- Preparing management accounts, budgets, financial forecasts and cash flow reports for senior leadership
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, statutory requirements and internal controls
- Managing relationships with external accountants, auditors, HMRC and financial advisers
- Providing commercial financial insight and strategic recommendations to support business growth
- Overseeing payroll, tax planning, audits and financial reporting while identifying and managing financial risk
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- ACCA, AAT or equivalent accounting qualification is essential
- Previous Accounts and Finance leadership experience within an estate agency or property company is essential
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory compliance and accounting best practice
- Experience producing budgets, forecasts, management accounts and cash flow analysis
- Confident working closely with Directors and providing commercial financial guidance
- Excellent understanding of bookkeeping, payroll and financial controls
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Professional communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
