We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and charismatic Estate Agent, ideally with proven experience in property valuations, market appraisals, and securing listings, to join a well-established, highly professional independent estate agency with offices in the Polegate area.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven and personable, with a strong track record of bringing properties to market, winning new instructions, and contributing to the growth of a successful sales business. You should be confident in building rapport, developing long-term client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
You will need to be equally comfortable working independently and as part of a high-performing team.
Previous experience in residential estate agency at Sales Negotiator or Senior Sales Negotiator level is essential.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Sales Valuer:
- Conducting accurate property valuations and market appraisals
- Winning new instructions and securing properties for sale
- Building strong relationships with homeowners and potential vendors
- Advising clients on pricing strategy and market conditions
- Generating new business through proactive prospecting and networking
- Attending and following up on leads, referrals, and enquiries
- Presenting tailored marketing strategies to secure listings
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of new instructions
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the local property market
- Delivering excellent customer service throughout the valuation and instruction process

- Proven experience in residential estate agency
- Strong background in property valuations, market appraisals, and winning instructions
- Confident and persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- A strong track record of generating new business and converting leads into instructions
- Strong local market knowledge (or the ability to quickly develop it)
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused at all times
