This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Block Manager to join a respected and established property management company in Hove. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Block Manager to join a successful property management company in Hove. Managing a portfolio of residential developments, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of each property.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Block Manager:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and lease obligations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with leaseholders, freeholders, Resident Management Companies (RMCs), and contractors
  • Preparing and managing service charge budgets in conjunction with the accounts team
  • Arranging maintenance, repairs, planned works, and contractor management
  • Managing insurance claims, health and safety compliance, and statutory requirements
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while resolving property management issues efficiently

  • Previous experience as a Block Manager or Property Manager managing residential developments
  • Excellent knowledge of residential leasehold property management and current legislation
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage a busy portfolio
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Calm and professional approach when handling issues or disputes
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and residents
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
