A large Independent Estate Agency is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join its successful Horsham branch. This is a key role supporting the Branch Manager while contributing directly to business growth and day-to-day sales performance.
The position suits a confident residential sales professional with strong valuation experience, leadership ability, and a proven record of securing new instructions.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Conducting market appraisals and securing new property instructions
- Supporting the Branch Manager in achieving branch targets and profitability
- Assisting with the management, development, and support of the sales team
- Progressing sales and ensuring a smooth transaction process
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, buyers, and applicants
- Providing guidance and support to negotiators on agreed sales processes
- Ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service
- Representing the branch professionally within the local market
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)
- Previous experience as an Assistant Sales Manager, Senior Sales Negotiator, Valuer, or similar
- Strong listing and valuation experience
- Sound understanding of the residential sales process

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Professional presentation and approach
- Full UK driving licence essential
