A growing property management company in the Maidstone area are seeking an experienced Estate Manager to help oversee a substantial residential portfolio, deliver exceptional client service, and lead effective estate operations across multiple locations. Our client, an established property company based near Maidstone, is expanding due to increasing demand for estate management services. As a result, we are seeking a capable Estate Manager to join their friendly and growing team. The successful candidate will help manage a significant portfolio of mixed residential estates and play an important role in maintaining high standards across all sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid property management experience looking for long-term career progression within an expanding organisation.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

  • Managing a varied portfolio of leasehold and freehold estates across the region
  • Carrying out monthly site inspections and reporting on condition and required works
  • Meeting contractors regarding repairs, planned maintenance, and improvements
  • Handling client queries and attending out-of-hours meetings with estate directors
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term maintenance planning
  • Administering service charge collection and arrears management
  • Completing a range of administrative tasks including mail merges, emails, and minutes
  • Raising works orders and liaising with contractors
  • Responding to telephone and email enquiries efficiently
  • Assisting with client and solicitor enquiries
  • Preparing presentation packs and attending meetings with potential new clients

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in property management (estate/block management preferred)
  • Strong organisational, methodical, and punctual approach
  • Confident communicating with clients, directors, and contractors
  • Ability to propose solutions and manage issues effectively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of restrictive covenants, Landlord & Tenant Act, or Health & Safety (advantageous)
  • Understanding of Section 20 consultation process (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence (travel required across Kent)
