Working closely with landlords, tenants, legal professionals and internal stakeholders, you will oversee lease negotiations, renewals, rent reviews and compliance across a varied portfolio.
This position would suit someone with strong commercial lease experience, ideally gained within the social housing sector or a similar regulated environment across Sussex, who can confidently manage multiple priorities and build long-term professional relationships.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Commercial Lease Manager
- Manage a portfolio of commercial leases from acquisition through to renewal or expiry
- Negotiate lease renewals, rent reviews, licences and lease variations with landlords and tenants
- Monitor key lease dates, obligations and compliance requirements to minimise risk
- Build and maintain effective relationships with landlords, solicitors, surveyors and internal teams
- Maintain accurate lease records, documentation and property management systems
- Provide commercial lease advice to support property and asset management decisions
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience managing commercial property leases
- Strong understanding of commercial lease agreements and property legislation
- Experience working within social housing would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of the Sussex commercial property market would be advantageous
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Sussex as required
