We are working in partnership with a long-standing, highly regarded local, independent estate agency and chartered surveying firm, to recruit a proactive and experienced Lettings Manager for their branch in Crowborough, East Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small, dynamic lettings team within a multi-disciplinary property company that values professionalism, compliance, and local expertise.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

  • Taking full responsibility for the residential lettings department
  • Conducting market appraisals and converting instructions
  • Negotiating tenancy terms and securing successful lets
  • Managing and mentoring junior lettings staff
  • Ensuring legal compliance and up-to-date processes in line with lettings legislation
  • Maintaining and growing strong landlord and tenant relationships
  • Driving new business through local networking and marketing initiatives
  • Reporting to the directors on performance, compliance, and growth opportunities

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

  • Solid lettings experience with previous team leadership or management exposure
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification (or willing to work towards)
  • Strong understanding of current lettings legislation and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to manage a portfolio while also leading a team
  • Experience within a professional or multi-disciplinary property setting is advantageous
