Our client is seeking a strategic leader to drive growth, partnerships and delivery within their Living Markets division, expanding public-sector housing programmes and managing a high-performing team across London and the South East.
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading housing solutions provider for an experienced professional to head their Living Markets function. The role focuses on strategic growth, client partnership development and the successful delivery of public-sector housing programmes.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Developing and deepening partnerships with local authorities and public-sector housing bodies
- Leading business development and converting opportunities into structured programmes
- Producing proposals, pitch materials and commercial models
- Overseeing delivery KPIs, reporting and programme performance
- Managing and developing a small team of buying professionals
- Providing policy insight, market intelligence and strategic recommendations
- Preparing pipeline forecasts, governance updates and Board reports
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
- Strong knowledge of local-authority housing priorities and pressures
- Confident communicator able to build trust and credibility
- Organised, commercially minded and consistent in follow-through
- Experience leading small teams and driving performance
- Ability to manage political and organisational sensitivities
- Background in acquisitions, housing delivery, PRS/BTR, asset management or public-sector partnerships (preferred)
- Proven ability to convert sector relationships into deliverable programmes
