A growing lettings team in Romford is looking for a motivated Lettings Negotiator to join its residential property operation. This first-rung role is ideal for someone keen to learn lettings and develop a long-term career in estate agency.
You’ll register and qualify applicants, arrange and conduct viewings, negotiate offers and progress agreed lets through to move-in. Full training and support will be provided, making this an excellent option for someone with customer-facing experience who is organised, confident and eager to learn. Some previous experience in the lettings sector is preferred so that you can hit the ground running!

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Register and qualify applicants and match them with suitable properties
- Arrange, confirm and conduct property viewings, including some Saturdays on a rota
- Gather viewing feedback and communicate it promptly to landlords
- Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants and agree suitable terms
- Progress agreed lets through referencing, paperwork and move-in
- Maintain accurate CRM records and identify potential valuation and landlord opportunities
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- Some experience in lettings, sales, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing role would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Confident and personable telephone manner
- Comfortable communicating with new people by phone and in person
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy diary
- Clear and professional written communication skills
- Local knowledge of Romford, Havering or East London would be beneficial
- Genuine interest in developing a career in lettings and working towards ARLA Propertymark qualifications
