A Property Management Assistant is required to support a busy Block Management team in Sutton on a maternity cover basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This would suit an organised administrator with an interest in property and some previous property industry experience would be helpful.

Working alongside Property Managers, you'll assist with day-to-day administration, maintenance issues, client communications and contractor liaison. The role is fully office-based and offers exposure to residential block management, major works, Section 20 procedures and insurance claims within a collaborative team.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Property Management Assistant

  • Support Property Managers with day-to-day administration and incoming enquiries
  • Monitor emails, prepare correspondence and maintain accurate records
  • Log maintenance issues, instruct contractors and track repairs through to completion
  • Liaise with lessees, contractors and other external contacts
  • Assist with communications, mail merges, circulars and Section 20 requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the Block Management team, including filing, insurance claims and contractor records
