A personable and experienced Lettings Negotiator is required to join a busy residential lettings team in Milton Keynes, dealing with landlords and tenants while helping to maximise new instructions and successfully let properties.

This is a customer-focused role for an enthusiastic lettings professional who can confidently manage enquiries, arrange and conduct viewings, negotiate offers and progress applications through to move-in. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, generate new business and provide a proactive, professional service throughout the lettings process.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Lettings Negotiator:
- Handling rental enquiries from landlords and prospective tenants and matching applicants to suitable properties
- Arranging and conducting accompanied property viewings while providing knowledgeable advice on properties and the local area
- Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants and progressing successful applications through to move-in
- Carrying out rental valuations and identifying opportunities to win new landlord instructions
- Maintaining regular communication with landlords, applicants and tenants throughout the lettings process
- Generating new business through proactive prospecting, follow-up and developing strong local relationships
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience within residential lettings, preferably in a negotiator or similar customer-facing role
- Strong knowledge of the Milton Keynes residential lettings market
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone and face-to-face skills
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and convert enquiries into successful lets
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and personable approach
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple applicants, properties and deadlines
- Proactive and commercially minded with a natural ability to generate new business
- Full UK driving licence preferred with the ability to travel locally for property viewings
