Property Manager in Basingstoke

An experienced residential Property Manager is required to join a busy lettings team in Basingstoke and assisting in managing a local portfolio of properties while delivering outstanding service to landlords and tenants and ensuring every aspect of the tenancy runs smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised Property Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships, coordinating maintenance, ensuring full compliance with current lettings legislation, and managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Sales Valuer / Lister:

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties, acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
• Carry out property inspections, coordinate maintenance works and oversee contractor performance
• Manage tenancy renewals, check-outs, rent arrears and ensure all compliance documentation remains up to date
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and tenant enquiries, delivering a high standard of customer service
• Maintain accurate property records, tenancy documentation and communication logs
• Promote additional services including rent guarantee, mortgage and financial products where appropriate

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• Previous experience in residential property management or a similar role within the property sector
• Strong understanding of current lettings legislation, compliance requirements and the Renters' Rights reforms
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with landlords, tenants and contractors
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Knowledge of the Basingstoke property market would be advantageous, although candidates with transferable skills and at least four years’ relevant experience from another sector will also be considered
