The role will involve assisting with the management of a substantial local portfolio while delivering a professional and responsive service to landlords and tenants.

The successful candidate will have at least one year's Property Management experience and a strong understanding of current residential lettings legislation and possession procedures. You'll need excellent organisational skills, a confident telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Property Manager:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties, dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors on a daily basis
  • Handling tenancy renewals, negotiations and deposit matters throughout the tenancy lifecycle
  • Managing tenancy matters and possession procedures in accordance with current legislation
  • Coordinating maintenance issues and liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently
  • Providing a high level of customer service while resolving tenancy and property-related issues
  • Maintaining accurate records, prioritising workload and ensuring all property management processes are handled efficiently

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

  • Minimum of one year's previous Property Management experience within a residential lettings environment
  • Strong understanding of current residential lettings legislation and tenancy procedures
  • Knowledge of possession procedures and relevant grounds for recovering a property
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • Calm and professional approach with the ability to handle challenging situations
  • Positive and confident team player with strong relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence and own car essential, with ARLA qualification or equivalent advantageous
