What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Branch Manager:
- Managing the overall day-to-day operation of the branch, overseeing both residential sales and lettings
- Leading, motivating and developing the team, setting objectives and monitoring individual and branch performance
- Generating new business, winning sales and lettings instructions and identifying opportunities to increase market share
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and prospective clients
- Monitoring branch income, expenditure, sales figures and performance targets to maximise profitability
- Ensuring all branch activities meet current legislation, industry regulations and company procedures while maintaining excellent service standards
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- Proven experience within residential estate agency, ideally in a senior negotiator or branch management position
- Strong working knowledge of both residential sales and lettings
- Successful track record in winning instructions, generating new business and achieving sales targets
- Previous experience managing, motivating and developing a property team
- Good understanding of relevant property legislation, compliance requirements and industry best practice
- Commercially aware with the ability to monitor performance, identify opportunities and drive branch profitability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership and relationship-building skills
- Professional, organised and proactive, with a hands-on management style and the ability to lead by example
