Worley are looking to engage a highly motivated individual to join the Site Team based on a Project within the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Supervision and provide the PM’s / Site Managers with the required support to deliver a successful project.
- Provide daily updates to the project plan, reporting into the Project Manager & Client.
- Scope work packs, ensuring correct tools and equipment are available ahead of setting operatives to work.
- Maintain close contact with respective Clients throughout the project or activity to ensure satisfactory reaction to client’s needs or criticisms.
- Monitor and control project performance against schedule, quality and safety requirements.
- Identify changes in the scope of work and ensure that appropriate change requests are current and adequate.
- Responsible for permit accepting and setting operatives to work.
- Promote safety and quality on the site or project in consultation with safety and quality representatives.
- Issue directions for Job close-out and secure the final project acceptance.
- Commit to and promote Worley values and ensure the realization of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures.
- 4-year apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 equivalent (Piping/Mechanical).
- An HND/HNC or equivalent is preferable but not essential.
- Leading teams through intervention/TARs.
- Experience in mechanical engineering discipline.
- Experience in coordinating and interfacing with construction team and third parties.
- Experience in coordinating and controlling team delivery in accordance with agreed schedule and change without compromising HSSEQ standards.
- Experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with client and third parties.
- Propose and execute remedial actions for all identified problem areas associated with schedule slippage.
- The candidate needs to be disciplined and organized, with a process-oriented approach.
