About the Role

Offshore decommissioning is one of the fastest-growing sectors within the global energy industry, driven by ageing infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and increasing focus on responsible asset retirement.

This role represents an opportunity to shape the future of our decommissioning business and establish the company as a leading provider of decommissioning, asset retirement and IPMT services.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of market strategy, secure new opportunities, provide executive-level client engagement, and oversee the successful delivery of major offshore decommissioning programmes.

Please note that this is not for a selected active project, we are looking for the right person to support and grow the specialism.

You'll do/carry out

  • Coordinate & contribute to the development and delivery of offshore decommissioning and asset retirement strategies.
  • Develop strategic plans aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on decommissioning strategy, planning and execution.
  • Lead or support commercial negotiations and customer meetings.
  • Take ownership of business growth by identifying opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with operators, regulators and industry partners to develop safe, effective decommissioning solutions.
  • Take initiative with the preparation of bids, proposals and commercial submissions for new opportunities.
  • Work with project and commercial teams to achieve successful project and business outcomes.
  • Provide guidance within IPMT, Owner\'s Engineer, PMC and EPCM delivery environments.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver complex decommissioning programmes.
  • Promote safe, sustainable and compliant project delivery while supporting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

You\'ll have/bring

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience within offshore energy, decommissioning, asset retirement or major project environments.
  • Knowledge of offshore decommissioning activities, including asset retirement, well P&A, subsea infrastructure and marine operations.
  • Experience working within IPMT, Owner\'s Engineer, PMC, EPCM or multi-contractor delivery models.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
  • Understanding of commercial, contractual and project governance principles.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams and working within complex stakeholder environments.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance and sustainable delivery practices.
