Worley is currently recruiting for a Senior Plating Supervisor to join the Maintenance Team. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our onshore team at Tronox.

Key Aims and Objectives

  • To ensure the core values of Worley Field Services and our clients are always met and adhered to.
  • Assist in ensuring all project/company SHEQ goals are achieved and exceeded where possible.
  • Establish effective liaison with client/sub-contractor/vendor representatives.
  • Deliver a high standard of trade service to the project, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is always implemented.

Primary Duties

  • Prime responsibilities will include working safely in accordance with site and company rules at all times.
  • Carry out all work in accordance with vocational training and associated Risk Assessment and Method Statements.
  • Report all near misses, dangerous occurrences, safety observations and inappropriate behaviour of others to line management.
  • Actively participate in all company and client/project safety initiatives.
  • Continuously review/refer to work packs/drawings to ensure work scopes are being executed as planned.
  • Escalate any anomalies to line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications

  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Fabrication/Welding (or equivalent)
  • Supervisory Experience
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • MEWP License
  • SMTD
  • IOSH

Ideal Experience

  • Demonstrate experience in similar role in Oil and Gas Projects.
  • Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times.
  • Knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures.
  • Experienced in team working.
  • Able to interface and interact with Management and Client representatives at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
