Role Context: The regional (EMEA) Worley Consulting team is expanding again this year, building on a successful strategy update and targeted hiring in the past year. Individuals with non-traditional backgrounds are welcome but must have a consulting mindset to support business growth into new energy-related areas and to help existing clients navigate the energy transition. This role concentrates on supporting upstream, midstream and LNG clients focusing on integrated gas, decarbonisation and high-end consulting support.
Mid-level role within our EMEA consulting practice reporting through the Upstream, Midstream & LNG service line. The candidate(s) will be a member of the team providing technical, commercial and strategic consulting services supporting traditional operators and investors. Opportunity to be challenged regularly in an environment where you will grow quickly with direct input to your career direction. We offer both technical specialist and business management routes.

- LNG import terminal concept screening
- National CO2 and H2 infrastructure strategy
- Lender's Technical Advisor for CCS
- Vendor due diligence for natural gas assets
- LNG strategy development for major energy company
- 1700 km onshore pipeline conceptual screening
- Offshore field development planning
You’ll be:
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:- Work independently, receiving minimal guidance.
- Apply advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills as an independent contributor or team leader across:
- FEL (Front End Loading) 0, 1 and 2 greenfield and brownfield upstream and midstream (including terminals, shipping, and pipelines) projects.
- Technical and commercial due diligence on behalf of financial institutions and owners.
- Asset and portfolio optimisation, including development of decarbonisation strategies.
You’ll have:

- Driven self-starter with the ability to take ownership to deliver in client facing roles.
- Existing client relationships new to Worley.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate in technical and commercial decision-making discussions with confidence to work at all levels of a client organisation.
- Be familiar with a consulting business commercial approach (high margin, lower billability).
- Relevant technical or business degree.
- Based in London is preferred because of existing team location.
- Fluent English (verbal & written).
- Willing to travel on semi-frequent short-duration international business trips.
