This is a non-teaching role focussed on supporting students, staff and families on improving student attendance across the academy. The main focus of this role is to manage the administration of pupil attendance systems, including data management and analysis, in support of the school’s achievement of its attendance targets and to sustain ongoing improvements in pupil attendance.
About the role

- Lead the Student Services and Attendance Team to secure the regular attendance of students of statutory school age, meeting with students and families and liaising and working closely with external agencies.
- Where necessary, carry out the statutory duty of legal action when all efforts to improve a student’s attendance have failed.

Worle Community School is currently part of The Priory Learning Trust, a group of like-minded schools whose shared ambition is to provide a Great Education for Every Child.
