You will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range, working as part of a team delivering KS3 schemes of learning in Product Design, Engineering, CAD, textiles and food. A specialism and enthusiasm to teach GCSE in one (or more) of the following would be desirable: RM, Food/Catering, Graphics, Textiles, Engineering/Construction. If you are passionate about your subject and possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students, we look forward to hearing from you.
About the role
- Identify clear learning and teaching objectives and specifying how they will be taught and assessed.
- Set tasks, including homework, which challenge students and ensure a high level of interest.
- Establish and maintain a safe environment and purposeful working atmosphere which supports learning and in which students feel secure and confident.
About you
- You should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Ability to teach across a range of students of different ages and abilities.
