Salary: £38,000 base plus commission with OTE potential £58,000. Role Type: Full-time. Location: Hybrid (London 3 days a week). Internal Title: Senior Buyer Relations Manager.
Role Overview
Private Luxury Events is seeking a talented and driven Senior Buyer Relations Manager to build influential relationships with senior decision-makers and travel advisors in the luxury travel and hospitality industry. This pivotal role will shape and expand our global buyer network, ensuring the continued success of our market-leading events across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Influence & execute Buyer Recruitment Strategies. Work with the Executive Director to deliver effective buyer recruitment campaigns for Private Luxury Brands such as Ultra, Private Luxury, TFest, and Amour.
- Build Strategic Relationships. Identify, approach, and nurture senior-level buyers and industry leaders within the luxury travel sector.
- Manage the Complete Sales Cycle. Funnel prospecting, pitching, contract negotiation, and post-event engagement to ensure lasting relationships.
- Embrace Innovation. Look at new approaches and initiatives to enhance buyer engagement and broaden event reach.
- Represent the Brand Globally. Attend and represent Private Luxury Events at leading trade shows, networking events, and hosted buyer programmes.
- Mentor & Develop Talent. Support junior team members through training, coaching, and performance guidance.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally within events, travel, or luxury industries.
- Skills: Strong business development acumen, excellent relationship-building abilities, and comfort with cold outreach.
- Approach: Creative, solutions-focused, and data-led in driving growth and achieving KPIs.
- Global Perspective: Understanding of international markets; multilingual skills (Spanish or Portuguese preferred) are an advantage.
- Technical: CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and strong reporting/forecasting capability.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally and work across multiple time zones.
- Mindset: Professional, entrepreneurial, and confident working independently in a contractor setup.
