A welcoming primary school in Trafford is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a long-term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
- Deliver targeted interventions and support EHCP outcomes
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
