Cover People are working with a welcoming Salford primary school seeking an experienced practitioner to lead a small group of KS2 pupils with challenging behaviour.
The role:
- Plan and deliver English and Maths activities each morning
- Lead outdoor learning, sport and enrichment sessions each afternoon
- Create an engaging alternative curriculum suited to the pupils' needs
- Build positive relationships and provide clear, consistent boundaries
- Help pupils develop their confidence, engagement and resilience
You must have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or HLTA qualification
- Current Team Teach training - essential
- Experience supporting challenging behaviour or SEMH needs
- Confidence planning and leading learning independently
- An energetic, patient and positive approach
