Pay: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge?

We're recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Burnage seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from 1st September until 31st August 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, rewarding environment and is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils across the primary age range.
  • Working closely with children with SEND, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and progress.
  • Supporting the class teacher to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Providing occasional whole-class cover during short-term staff absence when required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Has previous experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH.
  • Is resilient, proactive and happy to roll their sleeves up.
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
  • Is confident leading learning and can step into whole-class cover when needed.
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
