We're recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Burnage seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from 1st September until 31st August 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, rewarding environment and is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across the primary age range.
- Working closely with children with SEND, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and progress.
- Supporting the class teacher to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
- Providing occasional whole-class cover during short-term staff absence when required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has previous experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH.
- Is resilient, proactive and happy to roll their sleeves up.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
- Is confident leading learning and can step into whole-class cover when needed.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
