Cover People are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe to recruit a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Reception team where you will play a key role in helping children thrive during the most important stage of their education.
Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences that support children's academic, social and emotional development.
- The role includes both whole-class support and working with small groups or individual children, helping to create a positive, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications:
- A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or equivalent.
- Recent experience supporting children within an EYFS classroom.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Experience delivering phonics and supporting early literacy and numeracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
