We are working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Salford that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children through play-based learning and helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically during these crucial early years.
The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: Support children within the Nursery or Reception classroom.
Deliver engaging learning activities alongside the class teacher.
Encourage children's communication, language and social development.
Support early phonics, literacy and numeracy activities.
Promote independence through child‑led and play‑based learning.
Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Observe children's progress and contribute to their development records.
Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification Level 2 or Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Early Years Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning (Early Years pathway) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development Another full and relevant EYFS qualification recognised by the Department for Education You should also have: Previous experience working within an EYFS setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
