Cover People are looking for a confident, patient and resilient TA to support a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis.
STRONG BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT IS ESSENTIAL!
You’ll need to stay calm during challenging situations, recognise triggers and use positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies to help the pupil feel secure and ready to learn.
Your role:
- Support learning, engagement and emotional regulation.
- Build a positive, trusting relationship.
- Follow consistent behaviour strategies and classroom routines.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
You’ll bring:
- Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour.
- Confident behaviour management and a proactive approach.
- Patience, empathy and the ability to set clear boundaries.
