We're looking for a warm, confident and creative HLTA to support a primary school in Marple. This is a role for someone who loves the buzz of school life: building relationships with pupils, making learning click and bringing a little extra energy to the classroom.
Whether you're leading a planned lesson, helping a small group master a new skill or encouraging a pupil who needs a confidence boost, your work will make a difference every day.
A day in the role
- Lead teacher-planned lessons and keep pupils engaged in their learning
- Deliver small-group activities and interventions
- Support children with a range of learning needs
- Help create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel ready to participate
- Share feedback with teachers and celebrate pupils' progress along the way
You'll bring
- Experience as an HLTA, or strong primary school experience leading learning
- Confidence managing a class and adapting your approach when needed
- A calm, encouraging manner and a sense of fun
- Good communication, teamwork and safeguarding awareness
