If so, WFS have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Warehousing Team at London Heathrow. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in our Air Cargo Warehouse, where you will be responsible for efficiently moving loads and freight while adhering to strict security and safety regulations.

Reward and Package
- Base Salary: £34,474.69 to £45,016.35 per annum inclusive of shift allowance (with potential increase based on skills and experience)
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Shift Pattern: Rotating 8-hour shifts on a 4 on 2 off basis, covering a mixture of early, days and evenings. Start times range from 06:00 to 22:00

Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:
- Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles with precision and efficiency
- Place and retrieve freight in and from designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility
- Build cargo onto aircraft units according to airline specifications, prioritising safety and adherence to guidelines
- Complete documentation accurately to record details and movement of freight, mail, and equipment, maintaining meticulous records
- Conduct necessary checks on imports and exports to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements, including security and regulatory protocols
- Record and process cargo documents using handheld technology
- Work as part of a team to tight deadlines
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Excellent command of the English language in both written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders
- Valid driver's license, demonstrating the ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Forklift experience is preferred, as it will be advantageous for handling cargo efficiently
- Proficiency in manual handling of heavy goods, showcasing physical strength and capability to lift and move items as required
- Flexibility to work shifts, including 8 hours shift patterns (4 on and 2 off)
