We are looking for a talented individual to join our team at London Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in Procurement as part of a global organisation. As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio, covering a broad range of indirect categories including facilities management, IT, professional services, MHE, PPE, temporary labour, fleet support services, and warehouse consumables. This role is key to ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and value-driven sourcing strategies that support business operations across multiple sites. Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:

  • Develop and implement category strategies across indirect procurement with a focus on total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, from tendering and supplier selection to negotiation, contract award, and performance management.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Warehouse Management, IT, HR, and Finance to understand business needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier developments to identify opportunities for innovation, savings, or risk mitigation.
  • Ensure full compliance with procurement governance, legal standards, and ESG targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best-in-class procurement practices across the organisation.
  • Report on procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Manage vendors and ensure compliance with contract terms through effective SLA management.
  • Oversee ESG initiatives with vendors and provide comprehensive reporting.
  • Drive cost savings in collaboration with operations and finance team.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Category Manager, ideally with experience of a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage significant multi-category spend portfolios (ideally £10m+).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and commercial acumen.
  • To be a self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to influence across levels.
