  • Process Ownership & Change Management: Drive structured change management practices, ensuring that all process changes are tracked, measured, and properly embedded.
  • Operational Improvement & CI Activities: Implement 5s and workplace organisation principles to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Operational Improvement & CI Activities: Support and facilitate Gemba Walks, ensuring that leadership and teams engage in continuous improvement discussions.
  • Operational Improvement & CI Activities: Monitor and track operational performance through KPI dashboards and audits.
  • Training & Engagement: Work closely with operations teams to train and mentor staff in CI methodologies (5S, PDCA, lean).
  • Training & Engagement: Lead structured team engagement activities, such as shift briefings and problem-solving workshops.
  • Collaboration & Leadership Support: Work closely with the CI Lead and Operational Leadership to align CI activities with strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration & Leadership Support: A key point of contact for process improvement initiatives, supporting both frontline staff and management teams.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Excellent operational expertise in air cargo supply chain operations, specifically warehousing.
  • Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt certification and experience or strong willingness to learn and train CI methodology and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to assess data, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills - ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation and to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers at all levels.
  • The ability to document and develop standard work instructions, training materials, and SOPs.
  • To be self-motivated and proactive - demonstrates initiative and takes ownership of improvements.
  • Good understanding of Excel & ability to assess and interpret data.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and professionalism.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Project management experience.
