We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality & Assurance Manager to join our fast-paced team at London Heathrow.

The Quality & Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) across WFS UK.

The role ensures compliance with aviation regulations, customer requirements, industry standards, and company policies while promoting a culture of quality, safety, security, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be

  • Ensure compliance to all mandatory legislation and WFS standards relevant to the the WFS operation.
  • Responsible for ensuring all WFS UK manuals, policies and procedures are kept updated.
  • Coordinate the Quality Assurance Program, including internal audits, supplier audits, manage corrective and preventive action plans and effectiveness checks.
  • Support the UK operational teams in implementation of new processes and procedures, as identified by the HSSE and Continuous Improvement (CI) team.
  • Conduct compliance spot checks on all WFS UK locations to ensure all processes / procedures are being adhered to and support implementation of any new processes / procedures.
  • Support all GDP related activities, including self-inspections, audits, CAPA, complaints and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support Operations with airline audits and corrective actions for any findings.
  • Review the UK audit and inspections and test for effectiveness to ensure quality assurance via the WFS SMS: Pulse.

To be successful in this role you will need

  • Excellent knowledge of IATA regulations and procedures.
  • Good operational knowledge and experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and influence others effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Travel is required for site visits.
