This position can be based in one of the following countries: France, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, or Germany (CDG, LHR, AMS, MAD, or FRA).

Mission and Purpose

The role is responsible for conducting capacity mapping and assessing the existing material handling asset inventory, analyzing flight manifest data, and determining future subprocess requirements for material handling systems. The position also supports the oversight of design, layout, quantification, and capital expenditure planning, as well as the supervision of fitouts or retrofits of material handling systems.

Main Responsibilities

Services: (a) Capacity mapping and assessment of the existing material handling system asset inventory, analysis of flight manifest data, and determination of the future material handling system subprocess requirements. (b) Assist in oversight of design, layout, quantification, and capex budget in any material handling system fitout or retrofit.

Output: (a) Throughput capacity assessment and (b) Assist in production of material handling system design specifications and drawings, bill of quantity, capex budget.

Interface: Local project team, local management, operations excellence, continuous improvement, and material handling system design consultants.

Oversight: material handling system design consultants and providers.

Expert Knowledge: Air cargo facility subprocess capacity mapping, throughput capacity modelling, air cargo data analytics.

Working Knowledge: Air cargo material handling system design, operations, operations excellence and service delivery.
