The predicted salary is between 27300 - 36400 £ per year.

Worldwide Education, the UK's number one supply agency, are looking to speak to experienced SEN Teachers and NQTs who are enthusiastic and motivated to undertake day-to-day supply cover, as well as long-term and permanent placements, in and around the Reading (RG45) and surrounding area.

A successful SEN Teacher will be expected to work alongside dynamic, supportive teaching staff and senior leadership team in various different schools and commit to delivering the highest possible level of learning in a safety-oriented environment.

Payment

Salary for SEN Teacher is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications, ranging from £130-£160 per day. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are shown below.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that accommodate a range of subjects to students with additional needs.
  • Tailor teaching techniques to suit different learning preferences and abilities ensuring all students are supported.
  • Promote a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Work closely with school staff and parents to encourage student growth and enhance well-being.

Requirements

  • Be passionate about working with children.
  • Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with students with SEN needs.
  • Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Have experience working in mainstream British schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence.
