About the Role
We are currently recruiting qualified Nursery Practitioners and experienced Nursery Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming and well-established nurseries across Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate early years professionals who enjoy supporting young children's development in safe, engaging and nurturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years
- Support the planning and delivery of fun, stimulating activities aligned with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Observe, monitor and record children's development and progress
- Assist with daily routines including meals, playtime and personal care
Requirements - Nursery Practitioner
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Previous nursery or early years experience
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Proactive
Requirements - Nursery Assistant
- Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool or childcare setting
- Understanding of safeguarding and child development
- Enthusiastic, reliable and caring approach
