We are seeking temporary School Administrators to provide effective administrative and clerical support to the school office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative systems and maintaining a professional front-of-house service for students, parents, visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support within the school office
  • Answer telephone calls and deal with parent, student and visitor enquiries professionally
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and attendance data using SIMS
  • Support with admissions administration and free school meals processes
  • Use ParentPay to support school payment systems
  • Manage emails and correspondence using Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Prepare letters, reports and school documentation as required
  • Support safeguarding and confidentiality procedures at all times
  • Assist senior staff with additional administrative duties when required

Essential Requirements

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a school environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience using SIMS or similar school management systems
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
  • Professional, friendly and approachable manner

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using ParentPay
  • Knowledge of Sefton admissions procedures
  • Understanding of Sefton free school meals processes
